FOR THE RECORD 4 CAMPAIGNBRIEF NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2013 Howley and Cummings (ex CumminsRoss) and Andrews (ex BMF) join the DDB Melbourne creative department along with Luke Bartley, recently returned from the UK Ferrier - departed Naked Communications Fleet - departed ECD role at Clemenger Adelaide to return to NZ, replaced by Matt O’Grady (above right) years. Taylor was M&C Saatchi’s first creative appointment following its launch in 1995. After two years in Sydney Taylor shifted to M&C Saatchi Melbourne and for the next eight years was instrumental in the office enjoying a rich run of success, including Campaign Brief Agency of the Year in 2001. Naked Communications’ global head of behavioural sciences, and local co-founder ADAM FERRIER announced his resignation, while former BWM Melbourne managing director CARL RATCLIFF joined the agency as CEO. With a career spanning twenty years, Ratcliff brings a broad range of experience to Naked having led planning, cre- ative and agency teams at TBWA\London and Elvis UK plus working client side at British TV network Channel 5. Most recently he had a stint as managing director of BWM, Melbourne. 303Lowe, Sydney appointed ADA M WHITEHEAD as head of art. Whitehead has worked on a number of award- winning campaigns and has been awarded at Cannes (Media Grand Prix), D&AD and AWARD. Most recently he held senior creative roles at Publicis Mojo, Clemenger BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi. SIMON BLOOMFIELD joined MercerBell, Sydney as creative group head. Most recently at OgilvyOne Sydney as joint creative group head on American Express, Bloomfield played a significant role in leading the account to awards success both locally and internationally. He was previously in leadership creative roles at Clemenger Proximity, Hyro and Euro RSCG. DDB Melbourne expanded its creative team with new team TOBY CUMMINGS and ED HOWLEY as well as CHRIS ANDREWS and LUKE BARTLEY. Cummings and Howley join from a two-year stint at CumminsRoss, after origi- nally teaming up at AJF Partnership. Andrews has previous- ly worked for Whybin TBWA, JWT and BMF. Most recently his Amnesty International ‘Twignature’ campaign was featured on PSFK.com and named a highlight of the OneShow Interactive show- case. He will be partnered by Bartley who has recently returned from the UK. He has worked at London agencies RKCR/Y&R, Publicis, DARE, DDB, Havas, Inferno and DLKW Lowe. Clemenger BBDO Adelaide appointed MATT O’GRADY as creative director, replacing KARL FLEET, who returned to his home town of Auckland after just over a year in the role - for family reasons. Before joining Clems from The Campaign Palace in May last year, the multi- awarded Fleet had been at Colenso BBDO, Auckland since March, 2008, joining from Publicis Mojo, Auckland. Former Banjo Advertising and Whybin\TBWA creative DEAN HAMILTON was appointed creative director at Joy, Sydney reporting to executive creative director Christy Peacock. Whilst at Whybin\TBWA Sydney, Hamilton worked on the Pedigree Adoption Drive and NRMA Car Creation campaigns, which have received over 65 local and interna- tional awards to date. From Amsterdam to Australia, Hamilton has worked on some of the biggest brands around the world including adidas, Nike, Playstation, Red Bull and Guinness.
