Tipton, formerly of Crispin, Porter + Bogusky and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, joined Mojo in November last year. Darren Borrino and Stu Turner joined 303 Sydney as a senior cre- ative team. The pair most recently worked together at DDB South Africa, having also worked at hot SA shop TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris. They’ve won awards at all the major shows including a yellow pencil at D&AD, gold and multiple bronze at Cannes, Clio, The One Show, Young Guns and many local South African awards. “This is a very important hire for 303 as I continue to build a creative depart- ment to take the agency to the next level,” said Simon Langley, execu- tive creative director. “Their inter- active approach to ideas fits in well with the way we work at 303.” Ogilvy & Mather Sydney appoint- ed Andrew Ostrom as creative direc- tor, giving him responsibility for creative leadership and output from Ogilvy Sydney under the direction of ECD Chris Ford. A former Ad Partners CD and BMF creative, Ostrom has worked on many of Australia’s most recognisable con- sumer brands, and as lead creative for several multi-award winning campaigns such as ‘Quest’ for Tooheys Extra Dry and The Blood Bank’s ‘We gave Blood’. Ostrom’s appointment followed the hiring of advertising industry heavyweight Tom Moult from chair- man of Havas to executive chair- man of Ogilvy & Mather Australia, In another major boost to M&C Saatchi’s creative stocks Ronojoy ‘Tintin’ Ghosh will cross the ditch to take up the role of senior art direc- tor from Clemenger BBDO New Zealand. Widely recognised as one of the industry’s leading figures, Moult has more than 30 years experience in advertising and communications, most recently as chairman of Euro RSCG South Pacific Group. Founder of the highly-awarded The Moult Agency, he has also worked for Euro RSCG Worldwide, The Ball Partnership, Saatchi and Saatchi Sydney, and JWT both in London and Sydney. M&C Saatchi appointed highly credentialed creative Paul Dunne to the new role of creative director, Retail. The move will see Dunne return to M&C Saatchi after almost five years, bringing a wealth of experience across a broad range of categories and creative disciplines.
